Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded
- ½ cup (60g) celery, finely diced
- 3 tbsp (30g) red onion, minced
- 2 tbsp (8g) fresh parsley, chopped
- ⅓ cup (80g) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (5g) Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp (2g) Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ tsp (1g) salt
- ⅛ tsp (0.5g) black pepper
Instructions:
- Pat the chopped imitation crab dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried crab, diced celery, minced red onion, and fresh parsley. Toss gently to distribute the vegetables evenly.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and spices are fully integrated.
- Pour the dressing over the crab mixture. Using a rubber spatula or large spoon, gently fold the ingredients together until the crab is evenly coated.
